Bolle Eyewear

Golf-Specific Lenses and Styles for 2018

By David Theoret

The Bolle name has been around since 1956, so when it comes to eyewear to meet specific needs, they are certainly a name that can be trusted. Bolle has always been at the forefront of creating stylish and sporty designs and wrap frames as well as offering the latest in bold colors, designs and lens technologies.

This year, the company is setting the bar high for sport eyewear all over the world and they continue to up their game in golf-specific eyewear with The King and Anaconda Sunglasses with the Modulator V3 golf lens.

The progressive design of the Anaconda is perfect for golfers with medium to large faces as well as those that are looking for eyewear that can be worn everywhere they go. Specialty nose pads and temple tips are designed to increase grip even when sweat is present and the curved arms of the Anaconda hug the face beautifully, keeping them right where they belong. The saddle bridge gives added comfort and the plastic frame provides added durability. The Bolle emblem is proudly featured on the temples. It's easy to see why the Anaconda is one of Bolle's most popular designs; they are both functional and fashionable.

Bolle's King Sunglasses are another great looking pair of all around sunglasses and when you purchase them with the Modulator V3 golf lens, they become the perfect pair of golf sunglasses. The stylish wrap design provides all around protection and offers a roomy fit, making them ideal for larger faces. The frames are made of a durable and lightweight material and the attractive metal logo on the wide temples adds style. If your goal is to make a bold statement with your sunglasses, mission accomplished!

Take a quick look at the Bolle website and you will find that both the Anaconda and King Sunglasses are available in a number of frame colors and lens options. It's best to do a little research on the lenses to find the one that suits you best. I found their Modulator V3 Golf lens the optimal lens for golf. It eliminates distortion and brings out the various shades of colors on the green, making putts easier to read. The Modulator V3 lenses also make the ball easier to following the air.

All Bolle sunglasses come with a nylon case with a Velcro stay to keep them safe and secure when you're not wearing them and a cleaning cloth. Polarized lenses are available in some frames as are prescription lenses. For more information on these or any of Bolle's other eyewear products, visit www.bolle.com.

About: David Theoret

David Theoret David Theoret has been in the golf and golf travel industry for over 10 years, primarily selling online advertising. For the past seven years, he has also been a golf writer, reviewing golf courses, resorts, destinations, equipment, golf apparel, and training aids - the latter of which never seems to help. David's articles and reviews have been posted on many golf travel and equipment websites.

Growing up in Southwestern Ontario, Canada, it was naturally assumed he would play hockey. Beginning at the age of 3 and continuing into his late 30's, he did just that. However, after one too many pucks to the head, he realized that golf was a lot easier on the body (whoever said hockey players were slow) and took the game up.

After moving to Florida and accepting a position with TravelGolf Media (now part of GolfNow) his love for the game grew exponentially. Most Saturdays you will find him on a course somewhere in Florida or on the practice range reinforcing his bad habits. David plays to a 10 handicap - unless there is money involved in which case it goes considerably higher. He currently resides in Lakeland, FL with his wife Belinda and their two "kids", Madyson and Molly.
